YCS Employee web Meet And Greet: Alec

The doodle of Petey The USB plug isn’t the only fun thing I found sorting through old papers, I also came across YCS Employee Web Meet and Greet sheets we filled out. Although they are a bit dated (I think they are from 2014 or 2015) they are great for filler content here on the blog (they were originally meant for our website’s about us page but that project got lost in the hustle and bustle of daily business and was never completed).

This post is the third of six and since today is Alec’s last day with us I thought it was appropriate to publish his meet and greet. Alec has been with us since October 2011 and started out helping ship orders and performing general warehouse tasks. Alec has been our warehouse lead (“bossman”) for many years and his ability to help solve and tackle almost any problem will be missed.

1.) What is your favorite thing about working at YourCableStore.com (YCS)?

The people I get to work with, it’s a friendly environment.

2.) If you were stranded on a desert island what in-stick cable would you take with you and why?

Can I take the 75 foot Velcro roll? To hold together my raft of course.

3.) More fun… a day at YCS or at the DMV? Elaborate!

The DMV is a place of sorrow and anguish; here we keep it light hearted.

4.) What are your hobbies?

Rockin’ the bass, breaking and fixing my car, amateur triathlete.

5.) Do you think that over-snacking is a reality at YCS?

“Wuff ooyahh mmnn fff fhahh” through a mouthful of food.
